String Quilt



Do you have leftover 1" to 2.5", or more, strips from Hunny Buns, Jelly Rolls, Stripology projects, sashings, borders and bindings?  We know just what to do with them!  Join Donna and learn how to make a string quilt!

Supply List

  • Lots of assorted strips - 1" or more in varying lengths
  • 1 yard of "sashing" material (white, black, or cream.  Solids or tone-on-tone works best)
  • Sewing Machine
  • 10" square ruler (or larger)
  • small cutting mat
  • rotary cutter
  • iron and mat or seam presser
  • Best Press or starch pen
